There is an overwhelming, creeping dread that sets in when you realize you are completely alone in a quarantine zone. Whether you are barricaded in a quiet North American suburb, scavenging through a desolate, infected European village, or making a desperate last stand at an isolated Oceanian communication outpost, Zindex drops you directly into a brutal fight for survival. You are trapped in an abandoned area completely overrun by hungry zombies, and your only ticket out is a broken radio tower. You have to explore, scavenge, and fight your way through the horde to call for help.

Fix the Tower and Survive the Horde

Your primary objective in Zindex is to repair the abandoned radio tower to establish contact with other survivors. However, the streets are crawling with the undead. You have to constantly manage your vitals keeping a close eye on your health and stamina bars.

When you inevitably encounter the infected, they will attack in numbers. You cannot just blindly swing your weapon; you have to manage your stamina effectively, attacking the zombies one by one and dodging their strikes to avoid infection. Every swing and kick drains your energy, so if you get completely surrounded with an empty stamina bar, it is game over.

Press the ‘M’ key to pull up your map, chart out the safest routes, and figure out exactly where you need to go to secure the radio parts.

Scavenge for Your Life

You are not going to survive empty handed. The abandoned houses around the neighborhood are filled with vital resources. You will need to carefully enter these homes, checking every drawer, cabinet, and refrigerator to loot life saving gear. The game features crisp, high resolution 3D environments, making the tense exploration of these dark, empty houses feel incredibly immersive.

Keep an eye out for these crucial items:

• Coffee: Chugging a cup of coffee gives you a massive adrenaline rush, temporarily stopping all stamina consumption so you can sprint away or fight endlessly.

• Bandages and First Aid Kits: Essential medical supplies used to patch up your wounds and restore your health bar after a brutal zombie encounter.

• Defibrillator: The ultimate lifeline. Securing one of these rare items allows you to automatically revive your character if you sustain a fatal blow.
